My Coaching Programme

MY APPROACH
 

I walk the line between a good friend and teacher. I’ll listen deeply, make space for whatever comes up, and be your biggest cheerleader when you need it. But I’ll also be direct when I see you holding yourself back, because gentle honesty is often what helps us grow.

What I really want you to know is that you don’t have to do this alone anymore. I’ll be beside you every step of the way.
Whilst I can’t be available 24/7, you’ll always know I’m in your corner. If something comes up between sessions, you can message me and I’ll reply within my coaching hours.

COACHING PROGRAMME SESSIONS.

​

SESSION ONE - DEEP DIVE.

​

In our first session together, I want to get to know YOU.

When did anxiety & panic start to become an issue? The further back we can go, the better. I’ll send you some questions in advance for you to consider. There’ll be some structure, but in this session, I really want to be led by you. I’m here to listen, make space for your feelings, validate your experiences & ask gentle questions.
 

I want you to feel completely safe & comfortable, so we’ll probably start & finish with a few, fun, grounding exercises.
 

By the end of the session, together we’ll work towards identifying where the major wounds are and where anxiety became a defensive mechanism.​

SESSION TWO - INNER CHILD WORK.

 

This is a heavy one. In this session, I want to talk to ‘little you’ (because that child is in there!) Anxiety symptoms are often communication from our subconscious that we ‘don’t feel safe’ - That inner part of us that wants to be heard, but we rarely listen to, because it’s uncomfortable.


Through a joint meditation & then journaling with prompts, we’ll ask little you/your subconscious to talk to us. We’ll ask a variety of questions and use the information in the following sessions.

I’ll give you some exercises to do during the week in case he/she/they gets scared and activates the symptoms again. The goal isn’t to silence & wrestle control away. The goal is to hear them, feel what they need us to feel, and then put them somewhere safe.

SESSION THREE ​- INTERNAL FIREFIGHTERS

​

In this session, via another meditation, I want to address the ‘managers’ and ‘firefighters’. This is linked to the IFS therapy approach (Internal Family Systems). Managers and firefighters are parts of the subconscious that get triggered to help ‘protect us,’ and they can do that through panic attacks, bullying (negative internal dialogues), or physical symptoms like disassociation.
 

For example, one of my firefighters would scream, “Don’t talk to that person. You’re boring and stupid!” When actually what they were trying to say was “I’m trying to protect you from being rejected. You can’t cope with that.”


Similar to the inner child work. We want to assure the firefighters that they can stand down.

SESSION FOUR - SAFETY BEHAVIOURS, CURVE BALLS AND BASIC SELF CARE.

​

After two heavy sessions, this one is more academic. I want to ensure we have the foundations in place before we begin the work. It’s also good to identify anything that might knock us off track.


We’ll discuss panic attacks. You can tell me how you manage them, and I’ll also teach you my trick for dealing with them.


We’ll also touch on eating, hydration, exercise, and sleep habits.

SESSION FIVE - BUILDING NEW CORE BELIEFS

This is the turning point!

​

In this session, we’ll isolate what your three dominant core beliefs are. The ones that impact your behaviour and keep you trapped. An example from my own life would be: I’m thick. (As in unintelligent. I like to use exact words, and that is what my subconscious used to scream at me.)

​

Once we have these beliefs, I’ll show you how we reprogramme them. This is a very powerful technique that involves deep work from you. E.g., coming up with examples and tapping into memories. But I’ll be there to guide you.

​

Once we have this ‘data’, we can harness it. You’ll have key homework for this one, and I’ll encourage you to create a morning ritual. We’ll design it together. A routine that feels achievable, comfortable, and grounding. One that we can adapt if needed.

​

I’ll also give you some information on the Reticular Active System to read.

​​

SESSION SIX - DAY TO DAY SOCIAL WITH EXPOSURE
 

By now we’ll have:

​

  • Communication with our inner child & exercises to accept, feel, and focus outwards.

​

  • Communication with our firefighters, with techniques to help them ‘stand down.’

​

  • Our new core beliefs are in a state of being programmed, and our morning routine is in full flow.
     

Now let’s tackle your personal day-to-day situations, using your new core beliefs as the foundations. We’ll look at ‘leading meetings’ & dining out with your partner, and anything else that you’ve struggled with.

 

I’ll give you lots of information on confidence to take away.
 

Plus, I’ll have exposure exercise homework for you. Theory is great, but we need to ‘ground things in’ with real-life practice and experience. Again, we’ll go at YOUR pace and I’ll be there to support you​
 

SESSION SEVEN 7 - PUSHBACK OR KINKS.

Pushback or kinks.

​

In this session, we’ll iron out any issues (if you experience any) & ground in the new positive beliefs even more.
 

We’ll go over last week's exposure exercises, review your week, and boost your confidence even more.

​​

We can also go back over old ground and refresh on anything you’d like.
​

SESSION EIGHT - FINAL SESSION

 

This is YOUR session to lead. We can talk about or go over anything you’d like! This is something that we’ll play by ear.

I’ll ask you for clarification of the topic the day before.
